stocznia [2004] [polish for dockyard] is a never-ending camera panning inside the old fabrication sheds of stocznia gdanska [danziger werft]. the 17-minute loop provides different perpectives on two parts of the building within one sequence. the space is reconstructed by using twelve high-definition panoramic images and a virtual camera. thus the camera can literally follow the möbius strip and create a subtle displacement of the viewer. stocznia online |
