screen play ist eine partitur aus bewegten bildern. der bekannte new yorker künstler und komponist christian marclay collagierte ausgesuchtes filmmaterial mit computeranimationen. ganz im sinne der tradition grafischer notationen gestaltet er eine partitur, die hinreichend raum für interpretation und improvisation lässt. in der deutschen erstaufführung bei tesla interpretieren drei unterschiedliche ensembles das video. neben musikern des berliner ensembles phosphor spielt das polwechsel trio. in einer abendfüllenden performance ist derselbe film drei mal auf ganz unterschiedliche weise zu erleben.
